IUD Removal - Hysteroscopy / Polypectomy
I'm soooooo frustrated right now (need to vent & need advice/support)
My SO & I decided in Dec 2015 that we wanted to TTC. So I called to make an apt to have my Paragard IUD removed. My initial apt was Feb 1st. I went in and the doc couldn't find my strings and tried to probe around to get the strings without success. So I had a vaginal ultrasound on Feb 15th to make sure IUD was in proper place. Ultrasound showed IUD in place but also showed I had ovarian cyst & polyps.
Today Feb 29th I go in for an in office Hysteroscopy and the doc still could not get the IUD to bulge. So now she want me to come back on April 19th to have a Surgery - Hysteroscopy with Polypectomy & I'll have to be put to sleep with General Anesthesia.
I'm so frustrated because had I known it would be this difficult and stressful to have this IUD removed I would've NEVER ever gotten it.
Has anyone experienced this? Has anyone had to have a Hysteroscopy with Polypectomy?
btw: I will be 34yrs old in about 6wks
