Should school (private particular) be able to expel you if you are sexually active?

If part of your attendance is predicated on being celibate, i.e. Seminary School, yes. A public school, no, unless you're doing it in their bathroom or something. Then you're probably gonna get into some trouble.

My husband attended a Private Christian School. Everyone had to sign a contract. It had many things on it. One being that they would not engage in any sexual activity. They could be expelled for that.

Private school is pretty expensive, seems wrong that they would collect a tuition and then expel a student for something that has nothing to do with them.

The real question is, is that any of their business? Can they prove this?

I know Christian schools here where I live can and will expel any students who they find out are sexually active. Apparently it's because they broke their promise of chastity. It's understandable, but I don't like it. For public schools, I definitely wouldn't support that
