How do u deal with this??

I know is not christmas yet but oys around the corner. i've been thinking how this year would be since last year My mom wanted me to be at her house and that i wasnt enough time with her and family. but i also wanted to spend sometime with my boyfriends family . Has this happened to u ? What do u do?

That's a hard one. I've personally never had that issue because my family and my s/os family always celebrated Christmas at different times like his would celebrate the day before or after Christmas and mine would have the immediate family on Christmas day mainly morning then we celebrated Christmas with our whole family on new years eve. I guess all you can do is spend a few hours with your family and your s/os family

We split up christmas eve and nee years.  One for one.
​Or if that didnt work, we spend christmas with one and set boxing day ir the day before to have "another christmas" with the other party.

That's all fine and dandy if they all live within a couple of hours drive.... I feel the pain for those like us who have one family at either side of the country! Best of luck

We take it in turns each year with who we will spend Xmas with. His family this year, mine next year. Sometimes we invite them all to our house!

We spend Xmas morning here at home with just us then spend time at my husbands family then pack up and do it again w my family. Before we were married we did the same thing minus the morning w  just us. It's tough but it works. I'm hoping in a few years be able to host everyone at our house
