Waxing??

Question

Hi girls! So I'm going on vacation with my boyfriend to a beach and id really like to go get a Brazilian wax... I always shave now...
But I'm kinda nervous! I have very course hair and I know that will not feel good. Also.. If I do, will it be red or anything for a few days? How far in advance should I get it done? And how quickly does it grow back? If I shave it will start growing back the very next day 😒
And insight would be awesome!

It's worth the pain! And honestly your first time, it's really the first few strips that make you go "why am I doing this again?!" But it's so nice to not have to worry about shaving during your trip. I can go 3-4 weeks between waxings. Depending on your skin and how sensitive you are it can get red so is recommend going 2 days before your trip just to be on the safe side. Not sure where you're located but if you have a European Wax Center near you I highly recommend them! Great experience there and you can't beat their prices!

One week in advanced. Remember to exfoliate in the shower (with a clean wash cloth or completely new loofah) every day. The first time is always the worst, & every session from the first gets better.

First time is miserble... You just have to accept it. And if you start waxing - forget about shaving because then it is pointless. And yes - especially after first time the skin down there will be red and a little a swollen - do that ~4 days before going to holiday. About growing back - that depends... Hair starts to grow back after 2 weeks for me but ir grows so slowly that I'd say i am clean about 3 weeks. I grow back during AF.

Yes I won't lie I think it's painful but you'll be so glad you did it. The girl that does mine says no tanning for at least a day
