Frequent Dr visits

I started seeing my OB at 13 weeks and my appointments were every 4 weeks. I went to my checkup today (24 weeks) and now he's going to start seeing me every 2 weeks. I'm assuming the reason is because he's a high risk doctor and that's just his way of staying on top of things but I'm not a high risk pregnancy, I'm only seeing him because he delivered my daughter 8 years ago and I really wanted to use him again. I don't remember going this often this early for her though so I'm wondering if anybody else is seeing their doctor this frequently this early on. From what I remember from before I didn't start going every 2 weeks until 2 months before my EDD then weekly in the last month. Don't get me wrong though I love that I don't have to wait so long between visits!
