I have been trying to get pregnant for about 7months now. Before I started trying I got diagnosed with insulin resistance and was put on metformin for help while I started a healthier lifestyle. I also have no thyroid. I keep seeing how insulin resistance and pcos go hand and hand. Since we started trying last July I had one period in November and one last week. My doctor told me to stop taking the metformin when I decided to stay cocieving. Everyone is telling me that it could just be me coming of the birth control but I don't feel like it is.. My period this last week has been the worst period I have every experienced... I'm worried I'm going to go to the dr and they are going to send me away because I haven't been trying for a year and I'm only 21. However I really believe that my symptoms are pointing to pcos.. Any one else this that this is what my symptoms sound like or am I overanalysing it?
