When should I get a high chair?

My daughters 3 months and I'm curious when I should get her a highchair. And how often its used.

We only really used it from 6 to 12 months. After that we bought a booster seat so my son could sit at the table.

I had one when my son was a baby. I didn't use it until he was 6 months or more as I found it easier feeding him in his bouncer at first. I started weaning (onto foods but still had milk) him at 5 and a half months. I wont get a high chair with our second baby (due May) until she is 6 months or more.
