Safe hair color?

My grays are starting to show again, and I really need my hair colored. Are there any safe hair colors out there?  Still early in pregnancy. 7 weeks tomorrow, first ob appointment March 18th.

I'm a hairstylist and my advice is to go with what you doctor says. I have had clients that color and some that won't at all and some that choose to wait till after the first trimester. Hope that helps

According to mother risk website dying your hair is completely fine. I'd just make sure the room is well ventilated as your super pregnancy nose is sensitive so the smell might be overbearing. I dyed my hair at 6 weeks and 25 weeks first pregnancy. I'm about to dye my hair soon this pregnancy as well.

I was told to wait until after 12 weeks.

It's a myth that coloring your hair is unsafe while pregnant. But there's a 50/50 chance that it will actually work. I'm in cosmetology school and I colored a pregnant girl's hair and it did nothing

I'd do a root touch up for now ..much less dye and obly on for 10 mins. I'll be doing mine next week.

Well, I don't think chemicals are very safe in general. Check out henna to dye your hair ♡

I have the same issue ☺️ I thought it was a silly question but am glad I made it, my ob/gyn told me yesterday that it's better to wait until after week 12, hope this helps.

I think only certified vegan hair color is ok.  But,  I bleach my hair.  I'm 10 weeks.  My OB said to wait at least after 12 weeks.  My roots are so bad right.  I last got my hair done a couple weeks before I found out I was pregnant.
