Why is it when people say should we 'free the nipple' many people on this app say 'no and men should cover up too! It's disgusting!'

Like I bet you don't even look twice at men on the beach with their shirts off. You're hardly going to tell men to cover up because of the children. But if you saw a woman with her big Ol' titties out (or small titties before people tell me I'm boob shaming), you'd probably hide your kids or something lol. So don't give us the whole 'men should cover up too' shit. I think you'd be more concerned at a lil old elderly man in a sparkly bikini top than you would be if he was just chillin at the beach shirtless.

Breasts are sexualized things. We can't help it. But shirtless men are also sexualized (in a buff, tan kind of way). Us women gawk if we see a hot. Shirtless guy walking down the road, but if we all just show up somewhere topless, and expect no looks or anything? No. I don't think so.

I'm all for equality, but let's start third world where they have the highest rape rates, no fair education, children sex slaves, young women are auctioned off to the highest bidder. Let's tackle those before you try telling me that fighting to go topless at a beach is "fighting for equality".

"Free the nipple" is not a true Feminist movement and I think it's a waste of time when there are REAL issues. And frankly, if you want to parade around topless, find a nude beach, not one I'll take my kids to.

I'm really glad that I'm living in an area were men and women dress modest (since the most of us here are Muslim) the only time we see half naked women (and yes the women here wear less clothes than the men) is if we go inside central London where a lot of English people and tourists walk around. And also whenever we visit Germany in summer. So most of the time we stay in our area here and enjoy not seeing half naked people. 
I think it's disrespectful to show yourself topless. Why would you do that? Do you really think everyone wants to see that?

The thing that kills me about this whole topic is some people act as if women are asking to go to the mall naked.

If a man can be shirtless at the pool, the ocean, etc then women should have that option as well.

I totally think it should be legal to do at the beach and stuff. It doesnt mean people will do it out in the world like, even men dont do that. If i see a shirtless guy at like a restaurant or something the first thing i think is "trashy" i dount women would be all topless at every given opportunity

Actually we do our best to avoid having to see people's nakedness. If while driving down the road I see a man or woman barely dressed I will tell my kids to not look out the window on that side of the car til we are past.

We avoid crowded beaches or anyplace people will be practically naked.

So yes I do sincerely wish both men and women would start to dress more modestly and not display so much skin.

I don't care if women or men "free the nipple", but men don't care if women stared, can't say the same if a guy stared at a woman. I always stare at sexy men on the beach and they like it ;)
