How to remove a hicky quick?

My bf accidently lest me a hicky while we were about to have sex we got so into it nd after he noticed he told me and i was like fuck it well worry about that later and i took off his shirt and we had sex and after we went to a store to try to open a make up thing to covef it up but it didnt seem to work it was still purple so i just got home and i need to know whats a fast way to get rid of it besides the spoon in freezer? I already put it there but now i gotta wait but for how long?? And thank u!(:
