I'm in a relationship where he enjoys being called Daddy. He is actually a father so it is kind of different. 
He calls me his little girl all the time mostly becAuse I am short and petite, but also becAuse he takes pride in taking care of me and caring for me in every way possible. Being called daddy isn't like "I Want to think of you as my biological father " at all. Its like "you're my provider my protector my rock and the one thing that will alwAys be there to love me no matter what." 
Have you ever heard a Latina say "ooh papi"? It sounds kinda sexy when they say it.

I admit, I used to think It was REALLY weird and didn't think I would like it. Now I Love letting him be in charge and punish me for being bad... And sometimes for being good (;

I just think more people like it than They want to admit to the internet since it is stigmatized about being a father daughter relationship which it is not. Its more of the authority figure and caretaker role and the subordinate innocent mischevious role.

I don't ever say daddy, but I do call him papí. It's not a father thing, it's because he takes care of me and protects me. And because he likes it. He called me mamí, which I liked, and so I tried out calling him papí and he went wild! So now it's our thing 😉

Also, mamí doesn't really mean "mommy" in this context, it means "sexy" or "baby". And likewise for papí
