Hi there well this is the first time ive ever used an ovulation test an theres one dark line an one faint line does anyone know what that mean? I dont know if you can see it or not Sorry been TTC for almost two years now

The test line (your faint line) must be the same shade or darker than the control line (your dark line) in order for it to be a positive test.

If you get a faint line you may be approaching ovulation... keep testing at least once a day - not first thing in the morning though as ovulation tests are more accurate later on in the day - I take mine around 6:30pm.

Also be sure to reduce your fluid intake for at least 4 hours before testing :-)

On my tests a faint line is negative. Both lines should be the same color if you're ovulating!
