Ovulation question

Just started using OPK this month. I have had positives for 3 days now. Is that normal? We've BD 3 times this week so praying it works. Just wondering when the LH is supposed to level off. Also, is sex somewhat painful for others when you're ovulating?? Especially from behind!? Answers please lol
