2 Under 2?

Hey everyone...
Had our little guy last August and were thinking of any pros to have another within the next year.

Truth to be told, I have finally become more relaxed as a mom (only took 7 months), and have finally gotten to balance mommyhood, the gym, a social life again, wine, etc.

I was looking forward to a summer to be myself again since I havent been feeling like me since the birth. Love our little boy more than anything but am hesitant to throw a newborn in the mix.

It would be survival mode for a good year - that's what other moms of 2 under 2 tell me.

But they'd have a playmate...and I'd get the diaper stage out of the way sooner (it'd be our last).

Any experiences of moms 2 under 2 to share?

How about 3 under 2 😖 just found out we are 8wks pregnant and we just had our twins in August, they'll be 15mos when our newest little peanut arrived! Help me lol

Thanks for posting as we are having the same discussion. I have to admit I've still had "baby fever" since our little boy was born 8 months ago and it's not going away. When I told my husband, I thought he was going to think I was nuts, but instead he was like "I would be happy if you were pregnant again" so that got the talks going. I'm still BFing and just got my period back 2 months ago. Last month we decided to "not prevent" and see how it goes. We both agree that we may feel guilty about our son, getting pregnant so soon and he won't be our only one anymore, and not being able to give him 100% of our attention for a little longer, but my sisters and I are all 2 years apart and it has been so wonderful. We are so close and I love that I can't remember a time without my sister, and we want that for our son. We originally planned on waiting until August when our son turns 1 to not prevent, but now we're both excited at the thought of giving our son a sibling so soon. Scary but exciting!! I hope it happens soon!

I just found out I am pregnant with our  second and this one is due at the end of November and our daughter was born 8/5/15. This should be interesting!

I have been struggling with this for the past month but seriously considering trying to get pregnant this summer. They would be about 18 months apart. I am a teacher so ideally I would have the baby by the end of next school year and have the summer to figure life with 2 out. Part of me struggles with the fact that my daughter won't get the attention she deserves and I won't have enough time to go to classes and activities with her without worrying about the new baby. Also, my husband works long hours and although family helps it is still a lot of work!

I'm feeling stuck. I love my daughter and I want to cry when I think about another one because I want her to feel special. But I also really want to have another one. Ugh!

We decided at 4mths postpartum to TTC again and it happened that month so when out 3rd is born our 2nd will only be 13mths. I have a 5yr old who has grown up with no one to play with and I've felt horrible about it.  I didnt want my daughter to go thru it too. Will it be hard? Probably, but once the kids are 1&2 it will prolly get easier cuz they will have each other to distract each other for mommy to be able to get things done. Or atheist I'm hoping.

I did the 2 under 2 and love it! I currently have a 2 yr old and 7 month old. They are 18 months apart and I think that was good spacing for our family. It was def harder at first, but after the first few weeks we were back in our normal routine. Big sister doesn't really care about baby sister, but she doesn't hate her either. Now that she is mobile and more interactive I am starting to see a friendship grow :) The littlest one has learned  things much faster and I'm guessing it's because she has an older sister to watch. Overall I enjoy having two little ones around and I'm glad they will be close in age. But it is more work, you just get used to it quickly because you have no choice! I say go for it!

I had 3 under 3 (my oldest was 4 months shy of 3 when baby was born) and I love it. The older two play so well together. And they'll always have someone to play with. That being said, I refuse to go grocery shopping with all 3 by myself. 2 wasn't as bad.

I had my baby in August 2015 and got pregnant when he was 7 months old. This December this new little angel will be born and they will be 16 months apart. So I am definitely entering the 2 under 2 part of life. I'm nervous for sure because right now it's hard being pregnant and chasing my little crawler around. The sickness has been rough and so has the fatigue. However, it's a blessing to get diapers done and have them close together. It makes more send to me to get through the ages together. 
Just be aware in the first trimester it might be tough!!! Mickey has been a life saver!

As a mum of 4, I can say the jump from 1 to 2 is significant with sleeping naps noise and play it can be tricky. 2 to 3 hardly noticeable. 3 to 4, tricky again lol .
