Bleeding after sex?

A few times I've noticed I've bled after sex. I chalked it up to rough sex but then it happened a few more times. We had sex yesterday and I just went to the bathroom and noticed I'm bleeding again. It's bright red and there's not much but enough for me to worry. I do have precancerous cells on my cervix so could that be what it is? I'm making a dr appointment soon for something I would just like to put my mind at ease for te time being. Anything will help. Thank you :)
