Anyone else TTC with a man with low libido?

Its a bit frustrating. I'm 38 he's 40. Anyone used any libido enhancers to help their man get into the mood more often? I've just been trying to hit my fertile times, but we only BDd twice last month.. And that's not giving me much hope. We've talked about TTC and he says he wants a baby too. He just says he doesn't have the drive he used to....

My husband has testosterone problems, only 30 years old. It's not that he didn't want to, he just had so many issues trying to BD. He could admit that at first he felt like it was torture to BD because he just didn't have it in him. He saw a specialist who recommended not taking any libido enhancers because it can effect his sperm. He checked the quality of his sperm, which turned out was OK. Honestly I got him a little loopy a couple times which seemed to help but what helped us conceive was BD first thing in the morning and after a good workout when testosterone is at its highest. Good luck, it's doable but communication is key!

Yes! My hubby and I have sex once per month. When I wanted to conceive, I purchased the clear blue ovulation predictor kit and conceived two days later! Had sex twice that month, one day apart and, surprisingly, it worked!

My husband suffers with depression and is on citalopram which lowers his libido. He was also in intensive care last year with legionnaires disease which required 6 months of recovery (yes we've had a tough year!). I'm 36 and he's 10 years older. At the beginning of this year we tried ttc naturally but he felt under a lot of pressure to 'perform' on the days I was fertile, so I suggested at home artificial insemination, which he was really happy with. It worked first time, and the love is even more strong between us now I am expecting a sibling for our six year old! And now we can just enjoy the physical side of our relationship without the pressure of conceiving.

I have been struggling with this for almost 2 years :/ I'm 36 and he is almost 41. We have been evaluated by the fertility clinic so he KNOWS what has to be done but I believe his issues are more mental. (Fear of rejection from his past) We are now going to see a counselor to help work through it. I have had him on a high dose multi vitamin and now maca root. He feels that the maca is helping. I do have to say he seems more "frisky." But we really only have sex during my ovulation time so we will see how it goes the rest of this month!

Dude Viagra. My husband turns 30 this month. I feel guilty wanting him to take Viagra just so I can have it everyday ;) haha I don't have the energy for that. However, your man is 40; I don't think that's as big of a blow to their confidence. Plus Id present it from a hot angle like you want to be able to ride him longer and more often. Offer up some presex oral?! Idk whatever he likes...

Talk to him about how you guys will need sex every other day during the fertile window. Everyday is only a very small increase in chance (like 33% vs 30%). You will want to start a few days before your fertile window for best chances too. Show him the timeline so he knows what to expect. Talk to him about doing his favorite things to him to help excite him more too

I woke mine up in the morning with a hand job or oral as a foreplay. 
We had sex only 4 times the month I finally conceived. If I don't do the first step, we'd probably be BD once a month.

You can check the exact time of your ovulation with opc and dtd exactly on tye day when opc is positive and the next day. This day you will cover the most fertile days.
