Shooting blanks?

So my fiancé and I have been TTC for over 6
Months now (avidly on and off) and I'm still not pregnant...we sometimes joke about shooting blanks and all that but sometimes it actually hits me that what if that is actually the case...I'm honestly terrified one of us can't have kids...😭 I really need some advice on what to do to help us. Should I have him tested? Idk what to do...

Have him tested if possible. Also start yourself on prenatal. And partner on fertility blend from GNC store. He could have a low sperm count. The fertility blend supplement will boost it. I was told this by my fertility doctor. Good luck!!!

It can take healthy fertile couples up to a year to conceive. If a year passes then you should look into fertility testing (6 months if you're 35+). My friend said she was told to not even come back for testing until the 1 year mark. But I know the anxiety of TTC! Each month that passed I became more convinced we had problems. But it happened for us!

It took me 10 months to get pregnant.

I had my husband sperm tested at that time. It was great.  I was devestated went home did a test because I wanted to drink and found out I was pregnant.

Just be patient! It's normal and common that it takes TIME to get pregnant. I know most people think that they will fall pregnant immediately..... wrong for the most.... Even a healthy couple needs up to 12-18 months to get pregnant. It's nature. Read it from the other side: your probability of NOT getting pregnant is 67% or higher every month..... Most required thing with children: Patience!

It took us 3years than we miscarried December 2015 & now we have been trying for 2 1/2 months as of 2016

I was worried that it was me, I got off the pill after 7 years in September 2015 and didn't start ovulating until January, and nothing happened in January so I thought it could've been him but now I'm pregnant and found out on February 25th, just give it some time, track your cycles but relax it will happen. :)

If you take over a year of actively trying then seek a doctor's opinion.

It is concidered normal to ttc for a year after that then a doctor should be seen. But be patient you will get there soon. Good luck.

There's a test they sell at Walgreens and target that tests for normal sperm. Haven't tried it, but it might be an option if he doesn't want to go to the doctor.
