Support from Hubby on TTC?

Question

Trying to conceive baby #1, hubby wants it just as much as I do but doesn't seem to get the emotions us women feel. I get he's being protective but I feel unsupported at times. What needs to give?  Any advice on how you handle this new process?

I am going thru the same thing ...
I don't think it's because men do not care but they can not emotionally understand ... My husband tries ... He really does but when I start crying out of no where he just doesn't get it .. And I don't expect him to ... Men and women are just so different

My hubby was the same. He wanted another child but was really not showing any emotion or support about it. I used to get so upset because I wante show supports of much. He would say we where trying for a baby but wouldn't come near me for sex especially when he new it was my fertile days. After months I asked him why he was like this and he admitted he felt pressure and was nervous and scared. He felt like he had to "man up" and supply the "goods" and get me pregnant and it was a turn of knowing I wanted sex because I was fertile. It's hard on men to but in a different way to us women. We where Ttc for over two years. The one month we didn't try is when we got pregnant and he and I are so happy. Just don't make it a chore and show hubby you love him and not just his little tadpoles

My husband is so laid back and I'm incredibly high strung. He balances me. But sometimes I get nervous thinking that I'm the one leading the TTC charge. Which is not true. I know he wants it as much or more than I do. He just does not show it. But when he does it's such a turn on :)

Sometimes I feel like this too, he was like it in the run up to our wedding too- generally I find he's pretty useless right till the point where it all starts falling apart, then he'll come in and save the day :) hang on in there x
