Breastfeeding and sex?

I was a single mom with my first and didn't glue sex after 8 weeks pregnant. Now, 12 years later, I'm married and curious how others have handled this issue. I'm not sure how to approach the subject without joking about it, but feel that in a few months I should try to have this mentally prepared.

My husband is a breast man and I don't want that to change, but since my body is changing, then who knows?

When I was breastfeeding he tried to avoid them but they weren't off limits, he was just scared of getting sprayed or tasting the milk. As of right now he's enjoying them "while he can" haha

My husband LOVED them, everything about it!! I made sure I would wash them if he sucked on them during sex because I didn't want extra germs on the baby's milk. I discouraged him sucking on them most of the time because it felt confusing. But it was SO nice to have them appreciated/worshipped in a sexual way again when we were together. So  much transforms when you become a mother that it almost feels as though you lose yourself a bit. My breasts became food and not my own for awhile so it felt great when they could be sexualized again. It made me feel like my beautiful sensual self again as opposed to a mommy milking cow lol

I know when I was breastfeeding my first the thought of anything touching my breasts made me irritable. My son was constantly attached to me so the last thing I wanted was for them to be touched. The times he wasn't attached I felt like my body was actually mine again. As for right now my hubs is enjoying the pregnancy boobies while he can.

I'll be honest, since getting pregnant my sex life has never been better! But the girls hurt a lot and I was honest with my husband about it. I just told him that they were really sensitive and anytime he touched them it kinda ruined my mood. He respected that my body is changing for the baby and we've found was around it.

I have been so self conscious about my body ever since I started showing more and all my hubby says is that I am not fat, I am pregnant and he tells me that I am beautiful.
