What does labor feel like? Please share..

Im wondering what labor feels like...I'm due in 11 weeks, but due to bedrest, I'm not able to attend birthing classes. I'm trying to prepare myself as much as I can.

Can anyone tell me what labor feels like? ..What can I do to prepare?

Labor to me was steady menstrual like cramps but ramped up 50times more and delivery the hardest part is when your baby head is crowning if you going natural they call it the ring of fire cause that's how it feels when your baby head coming out but to me the most amazing part about it all is after your baby comes out all pain ceases to exist and you fall in love it absolutely it the greatest most special event women ever experience the pain is instantly gone after your baby is out good also pushing to me is like taking the biggest poop of your life and your body tells you when to push and pushing is like pooping but from the vaginal area sorry if that's tmi but I'm just keeping it real I loved it tho cause the pay off is seeing your baby face and that's priceless!! :)

Contractions start out like really bad period cramps and then get more intense as labor progresses. They started to feel like very intense Charlie horses in my entire stomach, but that's just my thought. You get nice breaks in between contractions though

Mine to me was I really had to poop but when I would try to go, it wasn't happening. Then pelvic cramps came on slightly then it was full mode very heavy "period" cramps. That happened over several hours before the pain came.

I had back labor, my stomach never tightened up like they say contractions do. I actually called my OB office twice and was told both times I wasn't in labor because I wasn't having contractions like that but I was in fact in labor. I felt back pain that came and went. When I got to the hospital the nurse said she could feel my contractions in my tummy but for some reason I never felt them in my tummy at all, ever. I was definitely in the most pain of my life though.
