Sex with a knee injury?

Hello ladies of Glow.

I've currently been dealing with a knee jnjury. Thankfully what I originally thought could have been an ACL knee injury turned out to just be inflammation of the cartilage under my knee cap.

Thats the good news, the bad is that my O's have taken a huge plummet because usually during sex I like to be on top, now with my knee constantly being swollen I can no longer do that. I am in major pain when I do try; to the point of tears. My boyfriend has been great with taking over with missionary and we've tried doggy( puts only a bit of pressure with a pillow under my knee) but it's now becoming a bit stale with the same thing over and over.

Does anyone have any suggestions of sexual positions that might eliminate bending of my knee or putting much pressure on it?

I just hang the bad leg off the side of the bed and get my ride on.

It worked after my double tear meniscus surgery.  Also I have rheumatoid arthritis and use that position too.

If he was sitting on a chair you could sit on him but still have your legs down and not bent so maybe that wouldn't hurt as bad? And it would still be like you were on top

Spooning is really good. Also lay on the edge of the bed and have him stand next to it. If he was sitting on a chair could you sit on his lap with your legs over the sides of the chair? That might work.

I had knee surgery because I completely tore off my ACL. Missionary is the only position that works when your knee is in a brace. I would stick to missionary. Or try the spooning position. if your knee doesn't hurt to much to stand try the shower?
