Absolutely. These things matter too much to me so I couldn't find the respect for someone who has completely different values. No respect, no functional relationship.

For the most part. When we first met and decided we'd have sex after dating for a bit I almost walked out. I have a thing where I discuss pregnancy before sex and what will happen. He was pretty big in the whole "you spread your legs you keep it" bs. Cannot put up with that bullshit.
Worked past it and he's moved over to a more PC side. He personally doesn't think it's an awesome thing, but recognizes it exists for a reason, and that'd it's not right to try to force pregnancy as the only option. That's the only issue we've had (and the slut shaming tied in with it).

Yes. I don't think I could be with someone who had different political or religious views as me. It would drive me crazy. Probably because I can't share any of it with my family because I'm so opposite of them I need someone close to me to be able to talk to who's on the same page. Also when we have kids I want to be on the same page as them as to what we teach them. To me it's just really important that we share those views.
