Co-ed baby showers??

Question

So Im really leaning towards a coed shower.. I know it's not traditional, but I think it'd be the most fun. Plus, I don't know too many girls I could invite..

Has anyone gone to, or thrown one? Was it a good turnout, or did it mostly end up being girls attending out of norm?

Oh and any ideas, suggestions, tips are greatly welcomed and appreciated!

I actually never been to a shower where it was only woman. I find people talking about female only showers to be weird and sexist.

I had a co-ed baby shower and it turned out amazing. We had all sorts of games, and it was so much fun watching the guys get competitive (in a friendly manner). Everyone had a great time. It's totally up to you; don't let anyone decide for you. If you do choose to go co-ed, my suggestion is to make it fun for not only the ladies, but also the guys. Happy planning.

I've been to one and am having one. My dad is so excited to get a grand daughter so he wants to be there and we will be inviting guys. I think it's fun as long as it's kept causal and the games are enjoyed by both genders.

My family wanted to do a co-Ed shower but I don't want one. My husband is just going to have is diaper part the same time and date for his family as my baby shower just in different locations. This way the guys are in one place and the girls are in another. I feel like this works best because you do run into issues of only girls showing up or the guys finding the games boring and what not.

My cousin had a coed shower last year.  They have an amazing backyard with a pizza oven and bar that he built so he was making pizza the whole time while everyone mingled. Didn't stay long since my husband was home sick, but they did one game and only the girls participated. It was very relaxed.

My husband is cool with a coed shower but I'm a bit worried about having a bunch of people at my house.   :-/

I had one with my last child and have been to a few. Ours was a blast, girls were doing the baby games inside while the guys were outside shooting guns lol. Also went to one at a bar, they had some fun games for the guys with booz in bottles and such.

We're not having a co-Ed shower, however with that said, I will be having a shower and he is having a diaper party. He will be smoking food and buying a keg and supplying it to his friends. If they want to eat or drink they need to bring a box/bag of diapers.

We did a co Ed wedding shower, which I loved! I hated the idea of me just getting showered when the wedding was about us. For the baby shower though, my husband said he wants it to be about me and the baby and just invite girls. I'm still thinking about that, because I kind of like the idea of having a co Ed baby shower too.

We're doing this! Partly so I don't have to be the only one in the spotlight but also think it'll be more fun to include everyone not just women.
