What Would You Do?
Hey Ladies !
Kso, i have this friend & shes going through alot i just wanted your opinion on what you would do in her shoes.Alright. So!
my friend & her ex had been together for a year & before that they were on & off for about 5-6yrs (high school sweethearts) after they broke up they still lived together & what not.
the reason they had broken up was because he had hit her & then a big fist fight happened, cause she can fight so she was landing punches also. It wasn't a "oh she was getting beat up by her bf" situation, they would equally fight.
Anyways.
6 months later he blows up again & throws a punch while shes driving and it was a big scene, after she had called his brother and after that his mother, father, brother & them were standing outside all discussing what the hell had happened.
She never called the police. not once.
After that there were two other incidents where he had blown up on her.
Eventually she had moved on & found someone who was gonna love her how a man should and treat her like a princess.
The ex boyfriend found out and decided he wanted to start fucking shit up.
when they were together they had gotten a car together & now since she had the car becos it is in her name even though he contributed to the upkeep & the payments along with her he thought he was entitled to the car.
Fast forward.
He starts threatening her and her new boyfriend...death threats.
& finally the cherry on top, he attempts to break into her house, fails & then steals the car the following day.
Kso, the question is should she finally call the cops & report him for all the shit that has been happening & now escalating.
The police will obviously charge him for the past incidents.
She doesn't know if she should tell the police and then live her life knowing she may have ruined his & might escalate more threats and maybe his family/friend retaliating or feeling like shes responsible for ruining his life.
*side notes.
after the first incident the ex boyfriends mother (boyfriend at the time) said the reason he hit her was because hes not happy and he needs to be at home with her (the mother), basically justifying what had just happened to her.
*after the incident with the car the mother was willing to send her to jail because she had the car and her son didn't & she said, she should be in jail.
Eveb though the mother had no say or right in the matter
