My husband, daughter (14 months) and I are in the grocery store checking out. We are at the self checkout and I like to do it so my husband was holding our daughter. I hear a lady started saying "oh she is so cute!" I finish and when we get outside my husband is angry and saying I just had to dodge that ladies hand because she was going to touch our daughter. He's like after I turned my shoulder into her reaching hand she then gave me a dirty look. He was like what gives people the right to touch my child. Now I completely agree and would have done the same and probably said a few words to the lady. Would you have done the same? 

Do you think it's okay for strangers even if it's just being friendly to touch your child? Just curious if we are overreacting.
