What does everyone recommend for packing a diaper bag?

Diapers, wipes, changing pad, diaper rash cream, a burp cloth or two, extra onesies and pants, disposable bags for diapers and/or to carry dirty clothes, a bink if you plan on using them... your wallet, since this will be your new purse! 😉

Are you asking about what to put inside? I think something that often gets overlooked is a change of clothes for mom and dad!

·at least two changes of clothes. Babies make messes lol
Burp cloths to wipe those messes up
Diapers and wipes of course.
A blanket. 
Diaper rash creme
Socks/shoes 
Anything you're gonna need! 
For the hospital....
Your favorite baby outfits. 
Socks. 
Your favorite baby blanket
Diapers if you want your own.
Wipes 
Any bottles or pacis if you're bottlefeeding

I have always kept a just in case bag in my trunk. Im irregular so for me pair of panties,pads,panty liners and since i had kids i have one for them as well. Extra wipes,diapers,change of clothes,bib,etc. And extra shirt for mom. Gotta love when ur holding them and pee leaks on ur shirt. Lol Thank goodness i do cuz u never know when u might need it. Just thought id share.

Burp clothes!!!!! They would give the baby rough wash clothes to clean him up and burp him. It tore my sons face up!! We had everything and only used the burp cloths and one outfit to come home in that was all. They had everything else. Oh and a hairbrush cause the ones at the hospital didn't look to nice.

I'm a little confused as to why we need a diaper bag AND a hospital bag for delivery. I thought most everything would be provided at the Hospital and you just take clothes, maybe your preferred products for the baby and other things in your hospital bag for yourself . I didn't plan on taking my diaper bag to the hospital.. Are we suppose to?

I'd pack a bag mainly for yourself because most of what the baby needs will already be provided at the hospital. For you id say underwear, pads, hygiene products, some nice comfy jammies maybe some snacks. For baby id pack a couple outfits some wipes (most hospitals use wet cloths instead of wipes) diapers will be provided as well as formula and bottles. Maybe pack a special blanket for the baby also cuz they only provide the receiving blankets

Your wallet & ALWAYS an extra shirt for momma no matter the child's age & more diapers and wipes then you think you will need & snacks for everyone involved & toys & pacifiers & extra clothes for kids

I'm a ftm too so I have no idea, but ppl have "what's in my diaper bag" videos on YouTube (like the purse ones) and it's given me tons of good ideas
