This time on Pregnancy Rage: Always thinks emojis are sexist in their newest and most random appeal to women with periods.

I don't watch much tv so I've been thinking all this crap flying around about emojis being sexist sounded like something some butt hurt chick on twitter probably made up. Nope! I just watched a Always commercial, a company known to stir up some seriously rediculious shit for attention, implying that emojis [those little pictures in text like 😀🐦🗼] are sexist because the supposed female ones don't have a profession 🙅🙆🙇👩👧👵💁💑💏👫👭👰👸👱👱💇. I happen to notice that they used the old emojis that were blondes wearing pink. Of course what you have probably depends on your phone and update too. They also tried to confused a bicycling person as a female, which makes you realize that none of the pictures could define gender if they wanted to. Not all boys are afraid to wear a dress, not all girls are afraid to have short hair. None of them even have boobs on my phone. Assuming someone wearing certain colors, doing certain things or having a certain length of hair is itself sexist or at least ignorant if you ask me. My husband happens to like pedicures and has long hair. Bet he wouldn't look like a "boy emoji".

Am I the only one who thinks this is rediculious? Do people really think the people who made these lil' pictures made for fun a few years ago thought they would be so huge now? So huge that 12 year old girls paid to be on a tampon ad talking about her poop face would say they're sexist? I don't think so. Why does it even matter. If you're a doctor why can't you use the assumed boy doctor image? What's wrong with it? Isn't that kinda sexist? If you want to whine "but I look like a girl" isnt THAT sexist? What, do you want personalised ones next? Will you not use a emoji that is brunette is you're a red head? Why do you even need to tell others your profession, your current health, your activity via a tiny picture? You don't! This isn't charades, use words like a big girl.

Maybe it's just the hormones, but seriously Always I know you need all the public appeal you can get after poisoning people but maybe just make good products and people will want to buy your crap???
