If you were engaged(no set date) and became pregnant, would you try and get married before giving birth?

My fiance and I have no set date to get married, and are pregnant. 
Just wondering if anyone fell into the same boat I am and decided to go ahead and marry before giving birth?

In August of 2014, my now husband gave me permission to start planning a wedding saying once he took care of a few things, he'd ask for my hand in marriage and he wanted me to have time to plan for my wants. The first week of September, September the 5th, we had gotten engaged after he asked my fathers permission and on September 12th I had found out I was pregnant. We had already picked a venue and all, but he was in school and working part time and I was working as a hygienist, but it didn't seem like we'd be financially able to have both a baby and a wedding, so we called it off. We had our beautiful daughter in May of 2015 and married January 4th of this year. It was a more magical day because she was with us. We didn't have to compromise for her needs or wants or ours for the wedding. We just stayed engaged that entire time and it was wonderful. I wouldn't have changed a single thing!

Just because you're pregnant you shouldn't rush to get married even if you're engaged! Get married when you financially can and I think it would be great if you had a son/daughter there too :)

I would want to just so that I wouldn't have to worry about a baby during a wedding and who was going to take care of it and so forth.. I wouldn't mind being pregnant while getting married.

I did. I got engaged in March I got pregnant in July and married in January. It sucked to be that pregnant but I wanted him to be my husband before our son was born. I knew that if I waited to get married that it would probably never happen and I didn't want to be one of those couples

I moved my wedding up as well due to my pregnancy- we just wanted to be a family before baby girl arrived, and wanted to kind of get it over with (that sounds bad) to focus on baby. I also didn't want to be too heavily pregnant so I could actually try to enjoy it. It was still definitely not as enjoyable as it would have been, but we just figured there's always time for parties- we can always do a vow renewal or something later on if we want, we just wanted to commit to each other in front of our families and focus on us and baby!

I got pregnant in April, and my fiancée proposed to me in August. We just had our baby in January, and still haven't talked about a date yet because we want to save enough money to have a great wedding. Don't rush into it, take your time to plan it the way you want it:)

I have two friends who both decided to skip the big wedding and just go to the courthouse. They decided that a big wedding while pregnant or after they had the baby was just a waste of money.

I would do it before i looked like a balloon. Haha . Nothing wrong with people who are pregnant and get married because i have seen amazing pictures but i would want the wedding to be just me and my "husband to be" and i wouldn't feel comfortable in a dress and shit all day at a wedding. Just my opinion

I did. We were engaged in April and I (accidentally) became pregnant a few months later. We had already put deposits on our destination wedding and I had already paid for my couture dress! There's no cancelling a couture dress order. We were out thousands of dollars but we decided just to go ahead and get married at the courthouse and postpone the wedding for a few (several) years later. Getting married allowed me to quit my job and still have insurance. Still haven't had that wedding though. And the dress is sitting in a closet... Lll
