I am 41, soon to be 42. My husband and I just got married in January. We have only been a couple since this past summer, but have been best friends for years. We figured at our ages the chances of us getting pregnant were slim. But two months into our relationship we came up pregnant (Sept), but ended in a miscarriage in October at 10.5 weeks. We were devastated. But said we would try again after we were given the clear to try. But now 4 months later, I am still fighting hormonal imbalance. They sent me to a fertility specialist, and find out my ovarian reserve is very very low. I had my first round of 100mg of clomid this cycle but I don't think it worked (will find out Wednesday). Just not sure I have enough hope left to put us through this again next month. :-(
