Ovulation tests negative?

Question

Can a person never have a positive ovulation test? I started testing on CD 10, it's now CD 16 and I haven't even gotten the test line to show up. My cm was really wet and kind of stretchy on cd 11-12. I used first response ovulation tests. We bd'd every other day right after af ended except cd 11.

Answer

I've always read to start taking OPK right after period ends in case you ovulate early. Or maybe try a different brand to see if you get the same results.
