Flu shot - are you getting it?

My Dr. Has recommended getting the flu shot this year, I am currently 22weeks. I don't normally get the flu shot and am undecided. Would like to hear other opinions. Thanks!

I got it a few days ago and I'm 28 weeks.. Honestly doing research on it and talking to my Dr, when your pregnant your immune system is SIGNIFICANTLY lower then when your not. So getting the shot helps with fighting off getting sick.. And yeah many people say "I got sick when I did it" not everyone is the same, your body is different and will handle the shot however it does.. So it's all how you personally stand with getting it.

Judging by years off and on...it makes no difference to me. I have gotten the flu later on with or without the shot. It all depends on you keeping your hands out of your mouth, as well as hands clean, staying out of the reign of fire from a sick persons sneezes and coughs. Take your vitamins daily! Some years i dont get the flu without getting the shot so....its a personal preference i think.

It does not make you sick. It will help protect you from the most common strains of the flu. The flu sucks and I bet it sucks a heck of a Lot more if you are pregnant. Anything you can do to help prevent it... Imo
