What kind of birth do you plan to have?

I'm just curious because I heard so many bad things about hospital births and nothing bad about a birth center. This is my first pregnancy so I definitely don't want to do a home birth. Please comment WHY you are choosing the one you picked. Thanks!

Hospital because 1. I don't know much about a birthing center. 2. I feel like the hospital will have EVERYTHING I need in case something goes wrong. Nicu center, surgery if needed ect. Home births are out for the reasons above. Good luck mama!

I would NEVER have any other birth other than a hospital birth. I am so comfortable with my doctor and my hospital. I want to be at the hospital if something goes wrong. I also don't trust midwives , if they were that great wouldn't they just be called doctors ....

I'm going to a midwife led birth centre 😊 midwives are especially trained in child birth and honestly, doctors are unnecessary. I don't want any interventions or pain relief and opting for a water birth. I'll give birth in the same private room I will be staying in throughout the whole time I'm there and it has its own private bathroom and the tub is huge lol I'm kinda excited. Hoping I stay low risk!

I'm doing a hospital birth just because my insurance covers it and doesn't cover a home birth (like I had wanted). But if it ultimately was my choice then I would be having a home birth.

Birthing center is possible. I feel hospitals are meant for death not life, and the give me anxiety. I know that a center I'll be more comfortable and they'll do more of what I want versus what they want.

I'm having a hospital birth but with a midwives group that practices inside the hospital.. Best of both worlds!

My hospital just opened a birth center like literally 10 minutes from my house lol. So yay! It's only 3 years old, so nice & new still, all high tech & stuff

Home birth- Everything I need is here & my care providers come to me with everything they will need. This will be my 3rd home birth. Can't beat the comforts of home 🏡💚

I will be using a birthing center.

I had my first two in a hospital and I feel comfortable that I know that my body will do what it is supposed to.

I have had 3 birthing center water births and the comparison is night and day. I wouldn't change back unless I needed to.

I preregister at the hospital in case of an emergency.

Hey I'm choosing hospital birth honestly because I don't have the finances or insurance to try anything fancy . In order for me to be able to provide for my babe to be I got to live within my means . However based on my research if that weren't the case , I'd definitely want a midwife . Doctors focus on so many other things at once that I'd rather deal directly with someone who's main focus is on natural births
