Has anyone had a natural birth?

I keep worrying myself that I'll have to have a c-section but I really want to do it naturally. This is my first baby. When you're plus size do they automatically just shedule a c-section or do you play it by ear? I'm 15 weeks and my doctor hasn't said anything yet.

I had both of mine vaginally, my second unmedicated, and I'm now planning a home birth :)

Being plus size has nothing to do with being able to give birth vaginally. I had both mine that way. They never even mentioned c section it depends on other things.

I'm overweight and they gave me a choice to do either one I wanted. I wanted a c-section at first but after my mother who had a c-section before helped me weigh out the pros and cons since my husband had no clue on what to do I chose natural. Im definitely glad I chose natural. My advice is weigh out the pros and cons for yourself.

You can most definetly have a natural birth if the rest of your pregnancy is normal!!

With my first I was induced, but never once was given the option of a c-sec... I was 370lbs when I gave birth but I had the epidural! Lol. 3 good pushes was all it took for my lil man to enter this world!
Don't worry, c-sections are becoming less common place. Unless you have a medical issue that forces the c-section or for other reasons... Very very very rarely will your weight or size call for a c-section.

I was a very large woman when I had my son and c-section was never even brought up by my doctor and everything went smoothly.

My dr said that as long as no ones life is at risk natural birth is best and considering I'm having twins I expected them to push c-section but they didn't. Just said we would play it by ear when the time comes!
