Hi my boyfriend and I have been together for almost a year 1 and I've had the hugest crush on him since the first day we've met, almost three years ago. I'm almost 16 and he just turned 17, and his leaving within the next month or two to move to Virginia (we currently live in Mass). I've had so many, basically everyone, tell me that we won't last. I've cried so much about this, I honestly believe he's my first love. Is there anyone else out there, who has worked through long distant relationships to give me some hope? My parents, and as well as his, are perfectly fine with overnight visits between us, they've even invited me to their family vacation in August. And I also have a job so I'll be able to afford tickets and everything. I'd just like to know that there's someone out there with a similar problem like mine, it'd be comforting. We already discussed we're not breaking up because of the move either. He believes that we'll make it through it, I'm just afraid I'll lose him.
