Did i lose my mucus plug?? 12 weeks pregnant!!

I am a little over 12 weeks pregnant right now, and when i went to the bathroom, there was a giant glob in my underwear that looked like it could be my mucus plug. Ive included a picture, because im kinda freaking out. Has anyone else experienced this? And this early?

It's possible. But luckily, it can regenerate multiple times throughout a pregnancy if lost(: just gotta be careful about infection

Just keep this pic, make an appointment & have your doc talk to you about it. You'll likely be perfectly fine, but hearing it from your doctor will put your mind at ease. It really helped me when I was bleeding at 13 weeks... Just a tip, if you sound concerned enough, they'll probably give you another ultrasound so they can measure your cervix & you'll get to see your baby ;)

Don't stress I lost parts of mine from about 10 weeks up till labour it's fine and it grows back :) nothing to worrie about unless you have pains or bleeding

Yes I did at 19 weeks but I have had no problems I freaked out and went streight to my aunt whining live with she a nurse and trained midwife and she says it's normal

You're going to have discharge through out your entire pregnancy.

It's just mucus. It's normal to have increased mucus in pregnancy, and even if you do lose some of it early it grows back.
