Ovulation is typically the day after the surge. Once you get a positive just stop testing because it will only freak you out. Doesn't matter if it's positive or negative the next day.

I had a positive and the next day glow told me I was ovulating but the test I took that day was negative

You ovulate around 24 hours after the surge. They say having sex the day of your surge is best because it takes around a day for the sperm to reach the egg.
