Can your body fake pregnancy symptoms?

Hi... first of all, I know every woman's cycle is unique and I probably should ask my doctor about it but I want to know if some have had the same experience as me.

I had a miscarriage on September 18th at 7 weeks. I bled for a week (like a normal period). I waited 2 weeks to have sex again (mainly because my boyfriend thought he was going to hurt me). My doctor told me that if I bled for a week, my period was supposed to come this month with no problem. He also checked my HcG levels and they were in 88. Well, my period was supposed to start yesterday and nothing. I know that you don't ovulate or have period until your levels are in zero. I've been cramping and my breasts are killing me. Funny thing it's that I had the same symptoms before I knew I was pregnant. I've been feeling a little nausea in the morning as well (not every day though.)

I don't know if my body is faking the pregnancy symptoms due to a few HcG levels remain or if I'm pregnant again. If I take a pregnancy test (either pee stick or blood test) it's going to be positive because of the HcG. I don't know what to do and my next appointment is on October 30th

Have you experience this? Were you pregnant? Or it were the hormones? Please, share! Thank you!
