Getting iud out

Hello, I'm getting my iud out tomorrow. I have had it in for 4 years and we are finally ready to have more kids. I am nervous because I've heard it hurts so much. I'm also worried that I won't have a regular cycle for quite some time and we would like to start having kids soon!

Any advice/ experience?
