Should I test in the morning? It will be 5 days before my missed period and 12 dpo. Should I wait a few more days or test? I'm anxious!!! And I feel like it's our month!

Answer

It's tempting, and I have seen lots of people get a positive that early, but I'm not one of them. I have never had a positive pregnancy test before the morning of my missed period and I've been pregnant 3 times.  With my last pregnancy I tested at 12dpo and it was negative and then on the day of my missed period at 14dpo it was positive, but I wasted money on a test in the process (even if they are only 88 cents). As hard as it is I would wait.

Imo: While it's possible to get a positive I'd wait until you miss...it gets depressing seeing negatives. Let the hcg build up more. Tests aren't that accurate that early (the box says so on the front but the statistics on the back say otherwise)
