When are people having their baby showers?

I'm curious when the standard/appropriate time to do it is!

I figured 7-8 months. That way you still have time to buy what you didn't get at the baby shower(s) before the baby arrives and before your body gets really tired.

I think we are actually going to wait and have a meet and greet after the baby is born. We have our large items, and we are slowly stocking up on smaller items, so it made more sense for us.

First one is going to be at 27 weeks 5 days and the second one at 30 weeks 5 days. My mother in law insisted on throwing one with just their side of the family.

I'm having 2 (not my choice lol) one when I'm 27 weeks and one when I'm 37 weeks!

Since I don't have family close by some of my family that's closest is throwing me one in april then my husband side is having one for me when we go home in may.
