Does anyone else feel the same?

I keep seeing posts of people's scan pictures and they say how much they're in love with their baby. I'm not feeling like this yet, I'm happy and am looking forward to her being here but I haven't got that rush yet, I feel like a bad mother 😓 does anyone else feel the same?

I'm not at the happy excited stage yet I thought that I would be.  It is a little more real to me this week because the ultrasound and actually seeing that it's real.  But I guess that I am afraid to get too happy? Idk.  I feel like something is wrong with me.

It's totally normal! I felt the same way when people kept posting things like that.

It will take you a while to get used to the idea. I was happy when baby was born of course, but I didn't feel "in love with my baby" for probably the first few weeks. The beginning is really hard, you're sleep deprived, and doubting and worrying about everything. I think it takes time for your hormones to kick in and for you to be able to really to feel that love. At least that's how it was for me. Don't feel like a bad mom!
