So I started dating my boyfriend about a month ago, and we've never met in person. Which I know freaks some people out. But whatever. He in the Air Force, and is stationed about 6 hours from me. And he wants to come drive and visit me, which is a lot of money because gas. But he wants to anyways. And I live with my mom and my stepdad, and my mom said he could stay with us, no problem. He would just have to sleep on the couch, which he knew. It's not big deal. But my step dad freaked out and was like no way. And I don't understand why. I'm 19 and my boyfriend is 20. My stepdad knows my boyfriend and has talked to him on multiple occasions. We FaceTime everyday. He's basically part of the family at this point. We only just made it official a month ago but I'm just very frustrated as to why he won't let him stay. I don't sleep around. I have only had one other boyfriend that my stepdad even knew. And I have never done anything for him to be thrown off or anything but I feel like he doesn't trust me. Idk I'm just kind of rattled, and I feel like my boyfriend having to get a hotel room after he's spent the money to come visit me is just rude and I feel so bad doing that to him. Is there anything I can do to change my stepdad's mind?
