Negative blood test still no period.

I'm on cycle day 43 I usually have a 28 day cycle. I thought I saw a faint line on a test so I called to get a blood test it came back negative. What other issues could be going on if I'm not pregnant. We are ttc and I am very regular I'm scared that if I'm not pregnant this could mean something is wrong. Any insights from others would be appreciated. I'm very impatient and this is wearing me out 😖.
