Do you believe that in one lifetime you have multiple potential soulmates?

So to elaborate on this question by multiple potential soulmates I mean there's a few men that could be your soulmate that you run into in life but for whatever reason it just doesn't work out and he's not the one you marry or do you just think you have one potential soulmate and that's the guy you spend the rest of your life with? If you feel strongly enough about your answer please comment and explain why :)

Yes I think so. My freshman English teacher from high school had this theory and I've thought about it since. 
The rise of the Internet has caused us to meet people we wouldn't meet otherwise. I never would have met my husband without it. 
So I think there has to be multiple someones for everyone. We travel and meet the love of our life, or we log on and sync up with someone who is so much like us but delightfully different. Or we bump into someone, at the grocery, whose eyes look like eternity. All of these could be a possibility for someone, but which one actually happens? Your future decides. :)

Yanno there are probably a million people on this planet that I would be just as happy with maybe even happier with than my partner, but they're not who I choose. Who I want may not always be the 'perfect' relationship but so long as I'm happy and taken care of, it doesn't matter. Bc that's who I chose. Sure maybe I'd be happier with person B but I fell in love with and chose person A and for that fact alone person B will never be the one for me. No matter how happy I would be that's not who I want so I couldn't be happy. (I hope this makes sense lmao)
