Imodium (food poisoning)

I had a mild case of food poisoning no vomiting just diarrhea so my doctor suggested I'd take Imodium .. So I did but today I've been feeling so drowsy and achy.. I don't have a fever and I haven't had a bowel movement.. I'm just wondering if the drowsiness is from the medication.
