Are gallbladder attacks really worse than labor?

I've heard kidney stones and gallbladder attacks were worse than hard labor. Is this true?

Mine felt worse than labor. But mine lasted hours and made me so sick. I lost 30lbs in a month from gall stones. It was terrible!

I'm sure it depends on the person and the severity.  When my son was 3 months I had my first ( known) gall bladder attack. I fell to the floor in pain and described it similar to labor pain. It was a lot shorter than my actual labor, but my sister who has also had gall bladder attacks had one for 6 hours and said hers  felt worse than labor.

Are gallbladder attacks really worse than labor?
