If you register at 2 different places should you put the same items on each registry?

Planning on registering at Target and Babies R Us - both of them have pretty much the same stuff. Should I register the same items on both ?

We did and when something gets bought we remove it from the other registry

Babylist! It's amazing and it syncs registries and you can add anything on it that you can buy online! It also lists multiple places you can buy each item and the prices, so it'll show Amazon, babies r us, target...

I registered at Target and Babies r us. A few items are the same, mostly different items and the bigger items I picked whichever store had the better price. I figure if I end up with doubles pending what it is I'll just exchange it for something that didn't get purchased.

You can use Babylist.com to combine multiple registries. This way it's easier to see if there's duplicates and it offers prices at other stores.

I didn't duplicate items... Instead registered depending on who had the cheapest price.

Check out myregistry.com it syncs multiple  registries so that you can give people one link and they will see everything on one page. Also allows people to buy from in store and you to add items from anywhere!  For example, I put some etsy stuff on there.

I registered for a lot of the same stuff. I try to keep a check on them and take off items that have been purchased from them so I don't end up with duplicates.

I think if u put the same stuff, ull get a lot of double gifts. I put whatever was cheaper that I wanted from either store

I registered at both target n Babies as well and put different things on each. Some patterns on things I just liked better at one or the other place... I looked online and kinda had an idea of what I wanted from where when we went it made the registries.
