Started having contractions in the early morning on March 7th. Went to the hospital around 10:30. I was in fact in active labor. I was 3 cm dilated. Had an epidural around noon. Then a little after 1pm, my water broke on its own. The nurse checked me and I was 6 cm dilated. Then around 1:30 I was 9 cm dilated. My little girl was coming quick! Doctor was on her way from the other hospital in town. Very thankful she made it in time. On March 7th, at 1:57pm I gave birth to my babygirl Layla Lynn. She was 7 lbs. 20 inches long.
