Baby shower ribbon hat..to keep or not to keep..

Why are we supposed to keep it whats the deal? Lol. Mine is HUGE i live in a small apartment and im struggling to find room for essentials. Lol. Ribbons keep falling off and im tired or reattaching..its been sitting in the pile of stuff to put away and now that the pile is down to very few things im like what to i do with this thing? ? My best friends mom put all the bows on for me and said "u better keep it" her daughter, my best friend, still has hers. Not for nothing but hers came out better the bows stayed on and she hung it on her wall. I dont have room for that! But i feel bad,cuz i kept my bridal shower hat it sits on top of a high dresser out out of the way
