Anyone ever use a pendulum to ask if you are pregnant? Did it work?

I'm asking because my mother puts faith into these as being accurate.  I'm not so sure I agree.

I used mine years before family began having kids. I wrote the answers down secretly and sealed them in an envelope that the two family members signed. All three predictions came true, including one miscarriage. I don't really care if anyone believes me, it was our experience. 
I use the pendulum sparingly, but have it with me and in my energy all the time.

I’ve used it, and it’s been pretty accurate. Not sure about pregnancy yet. Readers always say don’t ask pregnancy questions. Not sure why.
